App Description
The Illinois KIDS Observation application, sponsored by the Illinois State Board of Education in collaboration with the California Department of Education, Child Development Division, is a job aid intended for use by teachers implementing the KIDS. The application provides a way to organize child observations enabling an easier, faster assessment process. The features of the app include: video, photo, and text storage in anecdotal note format; the ability to tag multiple children on one note; and use of one note for multiple measures. Data from the classroom or a single child may be shared between teachers, such as a special education teacher or Title I teacher. A child’s information may also be shared with families.
