The Coast Guard Boot Camp application is designed to help prepare and inform potential applicants for service in the United States Coast Guard. Given the extremely competitive nature of the Coast Guard selection process, the information presented will help applicants understand required knowledge and ensure they are qualified for the physical and mental aspects of Coast Guard Recruit Training.
This year alone, approximately 500,000 young men and women will approach Coast Guard Recruiters with hopes of selection for roughly 3500 active duty and reserve positions. Coast Guard recruiters are looking for educated and informed applicants. Regardless of whether you have a ship date for boot camp or are just beginning the recruitment process, the information contained will demonstrate your level of commitment to both your recruiter and future Company Commanders.
