App Description
This exhibition reveals the fantastic and marvelous nature of the 16th century Flemish landscapes which, even today, elicit fascination, terror and questioning. In these images, where Christian faith and popular superstition merge, where the beautiful meets the bizarre and the marvelous encounters the monstrous, nature communicates using a symbolic language, the codes of which we no longer understand. These works of art, signed by the great masters (Bosch, Breughel...), push the reality of the landscapes beyond the visible, up to the fantastic.
Among the highlights of this application: point of view of the curator of the exhibition and 20 original commentaries.
