You can alternate the source language between English and Dutch. The dutch origin of Pocket Norsk is the basis of this option and also explains the wooden shoe.

Text to Speech
As from iOS 7 text pronunciation is handled by the system. Additionally you can use a Text to Speech web service. Older system can use online speech technology or textual ('phonetic') pronunciation.
