App Description

MyCalories allows you to control your own weight and the number of calories you eat every day
This innovative application is an essential support tool for those interested in monitoring: the number of calories eaten each day; the time trend of body weight and all biometric values (body mass index, waist/hip ratio, etc..) useful to assess the ideal weight status.
MyCalories allows you to know the progress and effectiveness of diet over time, the health status body, the intake of calories needed to maintain your ideal weight, and more.

Location
- Software and foods database in Italian and in English
- Automatic detection of language and of archive based on the settings of the iPhone

Foods archive
- Customizable archive (new foods can be added in it)
- For each food it provides the following information:
- Kilocalories e Kilojaul
- Proteins
- Lipids
- Fats saturated/mono insaturated/poly insaturated
- Cholesterol
- Carbohydrates available/soluble
- Alimentary fiber
- Iron
- Calcium
- Sodium
- Phosphorus
- Potassium
- Vitamin C/A

Automatisms
- Automatic calculation of the following parameters:
- Daily caloric requirement
- Ideal weight
- BMI (body mass index)
- Waist/Hip ratio (WHR)
- Total calories consumed against calories suggested/required by your own profile
- Values are calculated on the basis of information recorded in the user profile

Meals simulation
- Simulation of the caloric intake of a meal

Statistics
- Summary graphs for monitoring biomedical values over time (weight, calories, and WHR)
- You can export to pdf or forward via e-mail the daily calories consumption you made
