App Description

Trying to figure out when iTunes changes songs? Or maybe you want to know when a new hard drive is plugged in. Perhaps you're tying to figure out how to detect when the desktop photo gets changed. NotiSpy can help!

NotiSpy is a handy developer utility that gives you information about systemwide notifications you can use in your application.

NotiSpy watches for both NSWorkspace notifications and notifications from the NSDistributedNotificationCenter. It lists those as they happen, so you can see what's going on with your computer.

When you see a notification you're interested in, select it, and NotiSpy shows you the userInfo data about that notification. Then, a quick click of a button will copy observer code which you can paste right into your application to monitor for that particular notification within your own app.

If you're a Mac developer who needs more information about systemwide notifications, NotiSpy is the tool for you!
