Ultimate Animal Hangman provides over 4000 animal names (and growing) to be used in the game. After the player guesses the animal or loses then the player has the option to play again or they can learn about the animal.

If they decide to learn about the animal then they can see one of more pictures of the animal (on MOST animals, >90%) and then see 3 or more websites on the animal (on all animals) so they can read about the animals.

In addition if people want to add their own websites on the animal, they may do so, free of charge, as long as it is 100% about that animal. Finally if they happen to have taken a picture of the animal they may submit it free of charge also.

Our goal was to allow the player to learn if they wish to learn but not force them. It is for all ages but no one is expected to know most of the animal names so hopefully everyone can learn while enjoying this game.

Note to kids: You will not know most of these animals but most of them have a picture to look at so you can know what it looks like. Plus they also have at least 3 websites listed that gives some information about the animal so you can learn more about this animal. Be the first in your class to learn all about these exciting animals!

Remember, Robin Hood is never harmed in this game! It is just a picture to let you know how many more guesses you have left!
