App Description

With this tool you can calculate the followings for an individual system:

1 - Reliability of any system (or component) for a certain operation period. An example would be reliability of a server operating for a number of days.

2 - Availability of any system (or component) given failure rate and restoration time (also known as mean time to restoration or MTTR).

3 - Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of any system (or component) given failure rate.

Failure rate can be provided in percentages. Operation period and restoration time can be provided in days and hours respectively. Availability and Reliability are calculated in percentages (also known as nines notation).

This tool can be used by anyone to easily calculate reliability and availability of individual systems such as an electronic component, an household appliance, a server, or a network equipment.

It is especially useful in the field of reliability engineering.
