John Paul II the Great is the Pope who occupies a special and paramount place in the our hearts. He has significantly influenced the history of our nation and the lives of many of us. Not everyone had the opportunity to meet him in person, but many participated in his celebrations of Masses, which was always an unforgettable event and experience.
Today, when the beatification of John Paul II became a reality, we want to engage in a broad stream of national thanksgiving for his pontificate, providing readers with an album of photographs of the Pope, mostly from his pilgrimages to Poland, which from the very beginning were accompanied by numerous publications of the Pallottinum Publishing house. The album also includes two homilies of John Paul II from the first and last of his pilgrimages to Poland (from Warsaw and Krakow-Lagiewniki), which significantly highlight the two important motifs of his papal teaching: to proclaim and accept Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and to find peace in his mercy.
