- Fix bug on iPhone 3GS when interval timer is set to "as fast as possible" would only take a single picture.
Re-worked to use new features available in iPhone OS 3.1. This means:
- Faster recycle time.
- No more "blackout" screen while recycling/saving.
- Stability improvements, especially in the area of long interval sessions. Very stable well past 500 shots.
The long anticipated update to FotoTimer is now ready for you and iPhone OS 3.1! See "What's New" section below for details.
Sample Time Lapse Movies created with FotoTimer 2.0 now available:
Did you ever wish you could take a group photo with your iPhone and be in the photo too?
Want to eliminate camera shake when taking a picture (especially in low light, like a sunset or a party photo)?
Want to use your iPhone to do time lapse photography to capture an event (a "day in the life of" series, a storm rolling in)?
Now you can!
Like the self-timer on your digital camera, FotoTimer gives your iPhone the ability to set a timer to delay your photo from being taken until you are ready (2, 5, 10 or 20 seconds). Countdown sounds alert you to when the photo is about to be taken making it easy for everyone to know when to smile. An on-screen countdown timer shows you when the picture will be taken. Preview your shot on screen before taking it and it automatically saves to your iPhone's Camera Roll with your other photos.
FotoTimer works great to eliminate blurry shots due to camera shake. Just prop up your iPhone and set FotoTimer to take the photo for you. This eliminates movement caused by tapping the phone when the shot is taken. It even helps with handheld shots.
The new Interval Timer allows you have your iPhone take a series of photos automatically. Just set the number of photos you would like to take and how frequently you would like them taken and FotoTimer will do the rest. The Interval Timer can also be set to take photos continuously until you stop it so you don't miss a shot. You can use the photos to make a great time lapse movie using iPhoto, QuickTime Pro, Google's Picassa, iMovie and other software.
Tip: At any time during the countdown, you can tap the camera icon again to cancel the timer and not take the picture.
