App Description
Kevin's Proverbs uses speech recognition to solve visual representations of popular Western proverbs.
PROVERBS
Images depicting over 100 popular Western proverbs are presented in full-screen edge to edge view on all devices. Each image is hand drawn and visually describes the proverb. Clues to the answers are hidden in each image and through small texts in the drawing. Other clues and proverb histories may be found by simply swiping different directions.
SPEECH RECOGNITION
Solutions are spoken into the microphone, speech recognition determines which words are spoken and your answer is presented in real time. If your answer is verified as correct, it will be saved. Special prizes are awarded at different intervals. Requires iOS 10 and above.
EDUCATION
There is an art to speech. Kevin's Proverbs is a great tool for teaching pronunciation, especially to young people and people studying English. Through timing and rhythm, answers must be spoken clearly. As well, many of these proverbs date back more than 2000 years and are great for teaching valuable life lessons.
SOCIAL
Once solved, your answer and proverb image may be shared on your favorite social network.
