App Description

his app is a virtual scavenger hunt in which the participants must go to five specific locations in the city of El Campello. These five places will be predetermined locations the players will have to find aided by clues they will get in-game. The order in which the players will visit the locations will be randomly generated for each one of them.

When the players start the app, they will see two buttons:

Plot. This shows the story for the game. A spaceship has crashed on a city named El Campello. The player must find the five pieces of the ship that have been scattered all across the city.
Start. This starts the game. The app randomly chooses the order in which each player will have to visit the five locations to find the spaceship parts.

When the players arrive at one of the five locations, they will have to point the phone at an image that will have been placed there in order to trigger the Augmented Reality in the app. An object will appear on the screen, and the players will have to interact with the object to solve a puzzle. Once the puzzle is solved, the players will get a new clue that will help them find the next location in the game.

The organization putting together the scavenger hunt will provide the trigger images, which they will print and post on specific places around El Campello so that the players can find them and use them to trigger the AR on their phones.
