Virginia Tech ® Moves records your ride, tracks your route, and maps your travels. As an application developed by VHB, Virginia Tech ® Moves helps communities track bicycle and pedestrian routes using smart phone and GPS technology. Data generated by the users of our app is collected on VHB servers, analyzed, and used to serve our clients’ transportation planning needs. Communities can use this tool to better plan and further develop preferred bicycle and pedestrian routes. Help transportation planners make effective resource allocation decisions and enhance your city or town to be a better place to bike/walk by collecting data on frequented areas.
User information is anonymous.
Users can cancel a trip at any time for any reason and no data will be sent unless explicitly directed by the user.
