In order to take part, players will need to be Tech-Level 5 and pay up 20 Gold. In the challenge itself, boosters and second chances aren’t allowed, but players can pick any weapon and equipment they like. Players get three attempts, with their best being the only one that will count.

March Madness is here, and that means everyone and their mom is going to try and make the perfect bracket. ESPN’s bracket-making app, called ESPN Tournament Challenge, has received an update and it’s waiting for you to make your picks.
The updated app is now ready for the 2014 season and features a slick new iOS 7 design and icon, making it a beautiful mobile client for ESPN’s Tournament Challenge competition. From within the app, you can create entries for the competition, join groups, follow friends’ brackets, as well as get news and highlights as the tournament progresses.
The app is available on the App Store right now, for the low price of free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later.
It’s time to take up the paddle once more. For justice!
2013’s Golden Gate Smackdown saw an impressive turnout of folks looking to have a good time and play some ping pong for charity. This year’s 32 person tournament is scheduled for February 12 (7pm-12am) at the Mezzanine in San Francisco.
It’s going to be a tournament to remember; with plenty of major companies representing themselves on the tables, and this year’s special musical guest will be The Pharcyde. So, think you’ve got what it takes to go up against Silicon Valley’s toughest paddlers?
Newtoy Inc has been picking up some great press of late for its brilliant Words With Friends game, including our four star review. The popular multiplayer app is reminiscent of a word-based board game you may know (that rhymes with dabble) and is now available for the iPad as Words With Friends HD.
The biggest print title in Dallas, Texas, D Magazine, recently featured Words With Friends and its creators, fellow Texans Paul and David Bettner, as its cover feature and is now launching its own Words With Friends celebrity tournament. With 64 places available, the tournament is open to all and will include D Magazine staff, the Bettner brothers and even Dallas Cowboys’ Martellus Bennet among the players. According to Newtoy, Words With Friends is popular with members of both the Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
