A lot happens in any given day and it can be extremely tough to keep up with all the news constantly flowing around the web. While those of us here at 148Apps try and keep you up to speed on the most important happenings, there will be times when you just want to quickly browse the headlines and see if anything stands out. iDygest does a terrific job of providing you with the day's newest and biggest stories in an info-packed, easy-to-navigate app.

Upon loading iDygest you're greeted with a listing of the current top 10 hottest stories. Clicking on any headline will take you to a brief description of the story, culled from various sources around the web. If you'd like to find out more, the app provides links to every source article, allowing you to quickly and easily get multiple viewpoints and opinions on any one story. Even better, when you're done reading one article you can simply tap the back button to return to iDygest, no opening and closing Safari or other browsers and taking the long way back to the app. The whole process is incredibly streamlined and efficient.

iDygest also sorts news by the most recently posted stories, so it's incredibly easy to stay up-to-date on all the latest happenings. This is great for industry insiders and bloggers such as myself who need to be ready to cover breaking news as it occurs. Rather than having to sort through multiple readers and RSS feeds iDygest brings all the latest happenings right to your fingertips in an exceptionally user-friendly manner. For news junkies and folks who like to be in the know this app is absolutely top-notch, and one which you'll likely find incredibly useful. I'm a huge fan of iDygest, and I'm pretty sure that if you try it out you will be too.
