Group hangouts become even easier with the latest update to Martini. You can now reserve specific nights for mixers and see who else in your city is available to meet up.

“We launched Martini with the goal of making it easy for outgoing groups of friends to connect with each other,” “We realize the best matchmaking comes from members themselves,” “So we’re giving groups even greater control over the meetup process by providing a way to browse and invite other fun-looking groups out.” said Abel Acuña, co-founder of Martini, in a press release.

Martini is finally available nationwide. The social connection app matches groups of friends together to make meeting new people easier, without having to hassle with profiles or other artefacts of social networks.

Using Facebook Connect to instantly populate their profiles, users create Martini groups with up to four of their existing friends on Facebook. Martini matches groups every day at midnight using an algorithm loosely weighted according to age, education, and additional social graph information. Groups then have 24 hours to decide whether or not to accept and chat with their new matches to set up a future hangout.
