SwedeShop Makes Ikea Seem Quaint!

iPhone App - Designed for iPhone, compatible with iPad

Some people like Ikea... I ate there for Easter brunch 3 years ago. I think it's safe to say that I know my way around the store, navigating nimbly between the Lack TV benches and the Tjusig hat racks, but there is always one issue. Once I get downstairs, past all the dishes and rugs, I reach the inventory area and my eyes glaze over. Was I supposed to remember the product numbers of everything I wanted? I usually can't ask for what I want because I can't bring myself to butchering the word 'Alvive Ljuv', so what am I to do?

Well, Danillo Campos would say "there's an app for that", because he just created the first Ikea app in the app store. Not only can you track what you want to buy, you can also look up product descriptions and keep a running budget... just so you don't end up buying all that tempting artwork at the end. No, you really don't need the 5 foot black and white panoramic shot of NYC.

I'll have a review up tomorrow... I need to take a trip to Ikea to check it out. The app is free until midnight tonight, so pick it up while the gettins good. Enjoy!
