Lexulous (formerly Scrabulous) is a Scrabble competitor that has long outdone Scrabble in the online arena. The iPhone version is sadly lackluster compared to its online counterpart, but for Scrabble fans, it’s still a decent app and a good complement to the online game.

Trivial Pursuit for the iPhone is a faithful recreation of the classic board game that sold ten kajillian copies. Fortunately for us, the difficulty has been ramped down a bit from the original, evil blue boxed version but is a bit harder than some of the more modern creations. With it’s nice game balance, new gameplay options, and inviting animation, Trivial Pursuit is a real winner.

Reversi Online Tournament takes a classic board game, adds a fantastic multiplayer, and creates a polished, detailed app that’s everything you could ask for from Reversi. If you’re a fan of Reversi (or Othello), this is an absolute must-have…and we have a free copy to give away!

The Touchmaster series is generally quite good on the Nintendo DS platform, and while the games here are also good, there isn’t as much variety present. Furthermore, while the games Midway has included aren’t all that exciting, if you are a puzzle fan you’ll definitely find something here to like.

MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition includes updated properties which are far more expensive than those in the classic game. It takes some getting used to not having Boardwalk and Ventura, for example, but Instanbul and London serve as suitable substitues. The game loads quickly, looks great, and generally plays great. Includes modes for one player, multiple players by passing the iPhone around, as well as wifi multi-play (on the same router).
