App Description

Fickletitious is an ebook. No – wait - Fickletitious is a game. No-its a place. On the other hand, maybe Fickletitious is just a state of mind. Actually it's all that. The reader immediately finds himself drawn into the imaginary world of Fickletitious. Soon you realize that not only are you the main character in the book but you are pitted against the most evil of evil, Gertrude Clandestine Surreptitious. It's either you or Gertrude. Who will it be? Fickletitious has set the bar for interactive ebooks. Reviews below...

Let me get this straight. I’m reading this book and the characters start talking to me? They ask me to call them on their phone. I do…and they answer? Seriously? Now they start calling me by my real name… and start asking me for my help. What? Now, I’m not only immersed in the book, but I find myself as the main character in the book? Really? No wonder I like it so much. Now at this point, I find myself wanting to help them. And I do. They ask me to find a candy bar to solve a clue, so I do. They ask me to go to the library to find a book, and I do. Seriously? This is so cool! Then they ask me to go to McDonalds and order a big Mac to check the wrapper, so I do. I google a newspaper ad to untangle the tangled. And, in no time I find myself texting my friends in the book and now it all makes sense. They text me back. Come on…This is outrageous- and very cool! Are you kidding me? This is a book?

Love it! love it! love it! You guys knocked this out of the park. So creative. I read Fickletitious with my eleven year old daughter and by the end of the first section she was hooked. So was I. All she wanted to do was to read on and get the next clue. Great idea. Why didn’t anyone think of this before? We had heard about this from our neighbor who beta tested the book and she thought it was great too. We can’t wait for the next one. My husband loved the feature where he was able to leave a message in the book to my daughter. It worked like a charm. In the last section the note came up and my daughter was all eyes. Perfect. We were thinking you guys should have a suggestion box type thing where readers are able to give you their thoughts for an ingenious clue. Think about it. You might welcome the input, maybe even make it a contest. My daughter has been coming up with clue ideas on her own. Guess you peaked her interest.
