This fantastic app will help learners of English really see what’s happening inside the mouth when pronouncing sounds.

For the first time, you can see from the realistic animations what is happening with the tongue teeth and palate when making, for example, ‘r’ sounds, and compare the differences with ‘l’ sounds.

Other apps don’t have this level of realism. Speak As You See (SAYS) lets you imitate the 3D animated models and speak in the same way.

Many sounds are difficult for learners of English as those sounds may not appear in that person’s native language. For years, teachers have tried to use diagrams or difficult-to-understand animations but with Speak As You See, the movements inside the mouth are clear for the first time.

Even native English speakers with communication difficulties can benefit from this app. Children with hearing difficulties can really enjoy the animations and are motivated to imitate the models.

This universal app is fully optimised for both iPhone and iPad, with the iPad version fully using the extra screen space available. There are animated views for the front, side and cutaway (inside the mouth) for each sound and practice word in the app.

The app includes an instruction video to help you get the most out of the app. And you can be practising your pronunciation almost immediately!
