AnyList v1.8.1 brings the following improvements:

• Individual recipes can now be printed or sent as an email message.

• You can now search within a single recipe collection, in addition to being able to search all of your recipes. Recipe search results are now displayed as you type.

• VoiceOver accessibility of recipes has been improved.

AnyList v1.8 is a major update that brings the following improvements and changes:

• You can now enter your own personal recipes and add their ingredients to your shopping lists.

• Recipes can be organized into collections. For example, you can create a collection to hold all of your cookie recipes, or all of the recipes that you want to prepare this week.

• Your recipes can be shared with other people. You’ll all view and edit a common set of recipes, and changes will show up instantly to everyone.

IMPORTANT: The ability to browse recipes published on websites and blogs has been removed from AnyList due to the shutdown of Punchfork.com, our recipe data partner. Punchfork has been acquired by Pinterest and will be terminating support for their API. You can read more about this here:

However, if you have saved recipes in older versions of AnyList, those recipes will be preserved as part of your recipe collection when you update the app.

We understand that losing this feature is frustrating and annoying. We are working on other ways to browse recipes in AnyList that will be controlled by our company so this doesn’t happen again. In the meantime, we hope that you’ll enjoy the new ability to add your own personal recipes to the app.
