Protect & Control Your Locational Privacy

Did you know that real time GPS locational data is stored within each photo taken with an iPhone? This invisible, uneditable geotag data is embedded into every picture, containing the exact latitude and longitude of where it was taken.

Locational data can potentially disclose some of your most sensitive private information including your home address, workplace or daily habits. Revealing your location via a photo is downright simple for snoopers and hackers and could catch anyone by surprise without you even being aware. Remembering where your photo's were taken is nice, but including this information when posting to the web is not always a good idea.

deGeo purposely does not include the geotags and associated EXIF metadata so you can safely share your pics online. deGeo is the premier geotag remover, and the only one that includes so many built in sharing services.

deGeo makes photo sharing online simple and quick. Pick a photo from your library and tap share, that's it! Swipe up to choose a new one or swipe down to share it again. Users can email deGeo'd pics or save them back to the photo library for later use. Post to Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Evernote or to your blog right within deGeo.
