App Description
Sonic Speed Ball is a new type of TWO-PLAYER air pong game based on sound instead of sight. Using your iPhone, or iPod Touch as a racket you swing when the approaching ball sounds closest to you – first player to reach 7 points wins the game.
Half the fun is really getting into it, so jump high or swing low just don’t hurt yourself or your device cause we’re not liable.
WHEN TO SWING
The timing of when you swing controls the speed of your return. It’s just like in the real world – swing too early or too late and you’ll miss completely. Swing within the hit zone and you’ll return the ball successfully. Use an overhand to return a super sonic speedball or an underhand to send back a sneaky slow ball, but remember – your form is everything.
When it’s your turn to serve, click the start button to initiate the countdown, then swing as soon as you hear the ball. The faster and sooner you swing the better the serve. You can use any swing gesture to serve.
1 & 2-PLAYER MODES
The game is BEST EXPERIENCED BETWEEN TWO PLAYERS.
Make sure your friend has the App open on their device, make sure you both select the Two Player option and follow the Bluetooth set-up screens to create a connection. Play in any open space with no walls between you and make sure your opponent is no more than 25 feet away.
You can also enjoy a simulation/demo mode against a computer opponent. So practice your heart out and be prepared for sweet victory when your human friends are around.
