Warframe unleashes one hell of a sibling rivalry in Jade Shadows: Constellations

I don’t know if I am more excited for the new Warframe or the New Prime, all I know is I’ll be poor soon

Warframe unleashes one hell of a sibling rivalry in Jade Shadows: Constellations

If you are anything like me, you have had many a sleepless night awaiting Warframe’s Jade Shadows: Constellations. The 65th Warframe, Sirius & Orion, looks amazing. Well, wait no longer, as the aforementioned narrative chapter has arrived and is stuffed full of some incredible content.

First of all is, of course, the storyline. The Strider and his children are back, and you will need to pick a side. Sirius and Orion are battling for their lives, and it will be you who decides who wins. Provided you have completed Jade Shadows, and by extension, The New War. Warframe has an amazing story; experience it all.

After you have put the kiddos in time out, it is time to take control. As the 65th Warframe, Sirius & Orion are a dual entity, allowing you to switch between the two, which is quite exciting. They each have their own skills, such as Orion summoning a black hole or Sirius launching his scythe around. Their ultimate move has them taking massive swings at each other, obliterating anything and anyone in the crossfire. You can also grab their respective scythes for your armoury.

Somehow, this is not the only rivalry happening this update. Finish the quest, and you will be presented with another choice between two Protoframe mentors. You will pick between Ryoku, for Ash, or the wicked Vena, for Garuda. After teaming up, you will commandeer their custom vessel and head to Uranus Proxima for the latest Railjack missions, adding your new ally to your crew and boarding your opponent's ship for an epic space clash.

A shiny golden goddess and a wise owl enter the fray

This update also brings us the newest Prime, with Styanax taking the floor. We can talk about his increased stats and his extra Naramon polarity slot, but let’s instead discuss aesthetics. With the golden armour, shield, and the Afentis Prime Speargun, Styanax is basically Athena from Greek mythology, and that is just beautiful. He doesn’t beat Voruna Prime, but on looks alone, he is killing it.

Speaking of looks, and coincidentally still on the Greek theme, Dante has received his new Tytonis skin. This is brilliant, because I didn’t like his look, too pointy at the top. Tytonis makes him look like an owl, so you can whip out spells like a wise bird. Total win. Nidus also gets an ability upgrade for balancing, but is he an owl? No, he is not, and more the shame.

You can download Warframe from the App Store and Google Play, and then wave goodbye to your wallet. That Prime is expensive, but oh so shiny.
