Warframe announces the return of the Stalker in Jade Shadows: Constellations coming this June

I want to know what is in the waters at Digital Extremes right now, because Warframe is going from hit to hit. First, the amazing Follie trailer and update, then Voruna Prime, who, as I wrote on Pocket Gamer, is a complete beast, and I adore her. As revealed in a recent devstream, DE ain’t slowing down, with Jade Shadows: Constellations on the horizon.

Warframe is teaming up once again with BAFTA-nominated animation extrodianaires The Line to release an animated short for the upcoming narrative quest. As we know, music is key to Warframe. Matt Chalmers and his team are just an insane musical force; however, the animation is getting some outside help from metalcore band Erra.

Mindblowing video aside, what do we get when Constellations launches in June? Well, the Stalker is back, and it is the battle of Daddy's favourites. Hard to avoid spoilers here, but his two potential children from the original Jade Shadows are duking it out in a multi-timeline busting duel, as Sirius and Orion go head-to-head. 

Survival this cosmic encounter, and you can enjoy some Railjack missions in a new region of space, Uranus Proxima. Bask in the emptiness of space for a while, and perhaps you won’t hear my wails of frustration at the release of these two new Protoframes. 

Why must you hurt me this way, Digital Extremes?

Twas scarcely one month ago that I set down Ash Prime to start maining Wukong Prime, a decision I did not take lightly. And one that has bit me in the behind, as Ash and Garuda are receiving Protoframes. And he looks good! By completing Constellations, you can choose either of these as a Railjack crew member. I shall choose Ash and grovel for forgiveness. 

Speaking of the past, Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast will be back from May 4th to June 1st. You can nab cosmetics from the first Jade Shadows operations and some new gear. There is also a shiny deluxe skin for Dante to pick up, and Nidus is getting an ability touch-up to make him a little meatier. Perfect time to recruit both of these.
