Duet Night Abyss puts the Phoxhunter through a tough time in upcoming update

Remember that time that Duet Night Abyss infected its players with Malware? Sorry, make that those two times. Well, it seems that Pan Studio has learned their lesson, because it's been two whole months with no other attack. Will the Silver Torrent, Rising Star update on June 2nd change things? Do you feel lucky?

One of the main things in this update will be the two new characters. Who, as is important to remind you, can be obtained for free. One of the best things Duet Night Abyss does is its anti-gacha mechanics. You can recruit the Pyro-wielding maid Hilda or the Umbro-aligned noblewoman Flora.

And speaking of Umbro, things are getting a little dark for our hero, the Phoxhunter. They will undergo both a physical and an ability transformation with a new Umbro form, which is a fantastic way to keep our protagonist competitive. There will also be six weapons across these three characters to collect, again, for free.

Steampunk will never be a bad vibe

Stick your new team together and strike out to the city of Icelake in the updated new story. You can also explore further with the Flodia Bloomfield Station, a steampunk-vibe area, which is always a rather cool aesthetic.

You can undertake a host of events, including Luno’s Rail Rumpus co-op event, or two login campaigns for a bevvy of rewards. More interesting than these, however, are the new features. You can join a Clan, create powerful Calamity Weapons, and even engage in some asynchronous co-op with The Immersive Theatre: Ensemble Act. This, I would be very intrigued to see in action. 

You can download Duet Night Abyss from the App Store and Google Play, although jokes aside, give it a day or two to install the update. Maybe do what the first piece of Malware said and play Genshin Impact. Luna VII launched recently, infection-free and everything.
