Duet Night Abyss releases the perfect partner for your Pyro main

When Duet Night Abyss launched, I had high hopes for it. I primarily wanted it to succeed and prove you can be profitable without relying on the gacha elements it stripped out. Then it went and stumbled out of the gate, right into two malware attacks. Hopefully, they get back on track with the second half of Firmament Unbound.

The Firmament Unbounds first launched back in April, bringing a close to the Huaxu storyline. There's the Grand Incense Rite, a showdown with the Lord Argent, and five new regions to explore. We covered the update in more depth back when it launched, so we will leave it at the recap, because that's not the purpose of this article.

Instead, we are going to look at what is new, and that would be Camilla, the second hero in this update. She is the owner of a tavern in Icelake City, and as any DND players would tell you, all good things start in taverns. She is a Pyro DPS and has some fantastic synergy with other fire types.

Not a main candidate, but perfect as a backup

When deployed as a combat partner, her Rose-Tinted Dress passive improves Morale for all Pyro teammates. A very strong skill if you main the likes of Lynn or Margie. Beyond that, her signature Dregs of Glimmer Assault Rifle increases multishot and can stack Skill DMG buffs. In short, stick her as a companion character in your Pyro team and enjoy the buff.

Camilla can be tried out in the Immersive Theatre until June 2nd, to see if she is worth recruiting for you. Additionally, SuYi has encountered Nocturnal Exchoes, and Mirage is set up in the Commission Shop. Finally, until June 1st, you can take part in the Fading Exhoes Adrift event, with Whispers Unspoke skins for Fina and Rythem available to earn.
