Duet Night Abyss releases first major update with an abundance of tea parties

It is remarkably refreshing writing about a new character in an action RPG without having to consider pulls and banners.

Praise be to Duet Night Abyss for this and its first major update. In this we receive the aforementioned character, some events to enjoy, and a new weapon. All with no banners.

Let’s discuss the characters; Fina. She is a powerful Lumino-element hero packing a sword and an Assault Rifle, and she can use a tea party to increase Lumino damage and deal AOE damage. I am loving the idea of this small child at a tea party suddenly whipping out an Assault Rifle and just mowing monsters down.

Anyway, did I mention theres no gacha pulls? You unlock Fina through the Immersive Theatre and collection Secret Letter: Fina shards. A bit grindy, but then you can spend your real money on your own tea party. You can also kit her out with the Dreamwaver’s Feather, a new Assault Rifle you can forge.

Again, for free.

The news only gets better. If you are interested in Fina and her Lumino ways, you can head to the Marks in the Sand event to try her out in combat before you commit to the grind. For those who want to go even further and spend time with Fine, you can take on the limited-time A Rainbow-coloured Dream event.

In these, you will team up with Fina to complete a few missions, and earn yourself Secret Letter Clues, and Cermine Globule. It is always nice to get something for nothing as well, so simply logging in will get you seven days of presents with the Message of the Nightingale event.
