Duet Night Abyss Chapter 2 adds a revelation for exploration
Nothing ruins a beautiful world more than it taking a lifetime to get to your destination
One of my abiding memories from anime Action-RPGs, specifically Genshin Impact, with this point, is just how massive the worlds are. Even with gliding, traversal is a nightmare. Wuthering Waves got it right with the motorcycles; any excuse to praise WuWa. \
Now, Duet Night Abyss is tackling this age-old issue in their massive Chapter 2 update.
I'll kick this off by saying, I am well aware there are more grander bits to this update that I should begin with, but I will argue that you spend a lot of your time travelling. So, Mounts are being added. There are four types to collect, including the Mecha-Sable Bi'an that you can unlock by completing in-game tasks. Got to love easier exploration.
Away from this excellent new feature: the important stuff! The Huaxu: The Wind Awakening – Chapter II will also introduce 2 Electro-element characters to recruit. Zhiliu is a mysterious merchant, decked out in qipao-inspired gear and talismans. You can unlock them for free by hitting the Immersive Theatre and Covert Commissions modes to collect drops called Secret Letter: Zhiliu.

Our second hero is Yuming, who sports a dragon-scale motif and will arrive later in this chapter. They will also bring with them 7 side quests that will have you swimming in Huaxu lore. Neither of them is a mech suit that makes travel easier, though, are they?
If you are the altruistic kind, this update now lets you send gifts to your friends. Perhaps some of the rewards you can get from the Wishen’s Daring Adventures event, daily logins, or multiplayer attendance milestones? You can now also become a local legend with the Rise to Fame Reputation system.
Finally, Duet Abyss Night has added an auto-battler mode. This is a feature I am on the fence about. It feels cheap, especially in a game that is 80% combat. But I can’t deny that automatically mowing down the pesky mobs would be a relief. Try it out by downloading Duet Abyss Night from the App Store or Google Play.
