Digital Extreme lays out a tantalizing display of Warframes’ next update Techrot Encore

After launching in December, Warframe: 1999 truly gave Digital Extremes' flagship title a new lease on life, not that it was struggling to begin with. Keeping up the momentum, the latest Devstream has given us a banquet of information for a follow-up update on Techrot Encore, scheduled to launch on March 19th.
To start, you can bring the noise with the 60th Warframe; Temple. They will tear through opponents with heat wave projectiles along with their constant companion, the Infested guitar Lizzie. You can try this frame out in the Stage Defense, a reimagining of the traditional Defense mission type. We also got introduced to the four upcoming Protoframes, and much to everyone’s disappointment, Ash was not included. Temple is represented by Flare, who is seeking to become the ultimate artwork and transcend the boundaries of gender and biology. On the other hand, Kaya is very much steeped in science, being the crew's engineering guru and holding the mantle of Nova.
Finally, Minerva and Velimir II, who take on the roles of Saryn and Frost respectively, are past lovers and hardened military veterans. More than this though, they are the adoptive parents of 1999 antagonist Major Rusalka, so you will want to ensure you are up to scratch on your lore.

To get to know these two more, you can try the proclaimed most difficult mission type; Temporal Archimedea. You will partner with the couple and randomly selected missions, using the new Peely Pix system offering upgradable modifiers. For a change of pace, head to the Höllvania Mall Hub and try Ollie’s Crash Course, an Atomicycle racing mini-game in honour of Digital Extreme’s Make-A-Wish collaboration with James Conlin.
If you have played Warframe then you know that the music is excellent, obligatory mention of Party of your Lifetime that is in a lot of my Spotify playlists now. Digital Extremes is releasing new ticket sales for the TennoConcert taking place at Canada Life Place, which also includes access to a TennoLive keynote watch party at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel and the Digital Pack.
Players who want to keep up to date on their character's goings when they are offline can try out the Warframe Companion Apps Open Beta. Available from TestFlight or on the Google Play Store Beta. And of course, you can download Warframe itself from the App Store.
