Warframe finally launches on Android after last-ditch bug interference
It is almost the AM here and I am at risk of seeing the sunrise now that I can play this on Android
So, I wrote an entire article about how Warframe on Android was delayed and how sad it made me. And then about a minute ago, I got a notification on my phone saying it has now launched. Guess who is both delighted and furious in equal measure? Ok, maybe more delighted.
Before I refuse to let everything I wrote go to waste, up until a few minutes ago at the time of writing, there was a game-breaking bug on Android. There was a regional launch in Canada where players were encountering an infinite login bug. Mostly on Pixel devices, you’re the king of search engines, but fix your hardware Google.
Those little goblins in London, however, toiled long into the night, at least for me, it is almost midnight typing this. And their work was rewarded as we have Warframe on Android! Yes, it was on Apple, but now we can play it on a phone that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. And even better, with the Cross Platform Play and Cross Platform Saves, you can pick up right where you left off.

Or, if you have never played, what a time to start. Warframe is what would happen if you put a ninja in a mech suit and gave them magic powers. And it has absolutely blown up lately, thanks to blockbuster updates like 1999 and The Old Peace. There are over 85 million registered players, you would be missing out.
This is starting to sound like an advert, but I genuinely adore this game personally. If you download and play on Android before March 4th, you will get the Cumulus Collection for free. It contains a 3-Day Resource Booster, a Stratus Pistol Skin, Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana (a cape), and a Spektaka Colour Palette.
Warframe is available to download from the App Store and, finally, Google Play. Look at it, the link works now!
