Persona 5: The Phantom X Version 3.1 finally adds Akihabara to the game
The original omission of the legendary part of Japan is a genuine shock to me
Persona 5: The Phantom X has released its Version 3.1 update, and I have learned a shocking fact: Akihabara was not in the game before. I thought it was mandatory to be in every game set in Japan, but apparently, no.
There is also a rather interesting new Phantom Idol to recruit, if you have the right setup, that is.
Persona 5: The Phantom X gets Runa Dogenzaka
Our new character, Runa Dogenzaka, has the remarkable ability to slip into almost any team. That is because she can boost the effectiveness of allied Fire, Wind, Ice, and Electric attacks and Resonances, whilst debuffing foes. The only drawback is that a lot of her skills proc debuffs only when the enemy is attacked by one of those four elements, so her effectiveness is dependent on you using elemental skills. To trail Runa, head to the Thieves' Secrets: Howler's Special Missions. On Normal mode, you can fight alongside her, earning Meta Jewels and Joy Medals upon completion. There will also be a Challenge and Limited Time mode to tackle, with even more prizes to be won if you have the skills.

Players can team up with Runa to explore the new Akihabara area, completing a mission together and checking out the shops, capsule toys, and crane games within. There will also be the Akihabara Mystery Map quest that sees you talking to the denizens of this Akihabara, collecting keywords and earning Meta Jewels, Kagura Bells, and more.
On the topic of goodies, everyone should have received 300 Meta Jewels to celebrate Version 3.1, and you can get another 300 by watching the Persona X-Stream Ver 3.1 broadcast before February 5th. Finally, there will be a login event also lasting until February 5th, with 7 Platinum Tickets available for reaching 7-days.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is available from the App Store and Google Play.
