I have a complicated relationship with Persona 5: The Phantom X. I adore the series, and I want it to do well, but I have a big, spoilerful issue with Persona 5 itself. So I have conflicting feelings about this update that brings a new Phantom Thief straight from Persona 5 Royal.

If you need some firepower, then you definitely want to pick up the 5-star Goro Akechi. Also known as Crow, he is capable of dealing massive Almighty damage. His Bless attribute attacks boost ally damage, and Curse attribute attacks reduce enemy defense. Just in case being an Almighty canon of destruction was not enough.

Crow will show up in the Laboratory Arc Part 2, teaming with the P5X Phantom Thieves. Together, you will head into a new Palace, stuffed with delightful rewards. Beat bosses, and you will get Gold Tickets, Platinum Millicoins, 8-Sided Dice, and more. You will also get to know more about Joker, Kasumi, and Akechi.

Collect enough 8-Sided Dice, or Loaded Dice, and you can head deep into Memontos to gain more rewards. Get far enough, and you will line your pockets with Flowers, which can be exchanged for Gold Tickets, Kagura Bells, and more. 

Take on the Boss for big rewards

If you are feeling tough enough, you can tackle the Recollections of Fate Boss Battle. If you manage to beat them, you will get Loaded Dice and Joy Medals. Because games love an exchange, you can use these to earn Wonder’s exclusive weapon.

For those who enjoy a good bonding experience, Goro Akechi will be showing up at Café Leblanc. Complete City Life activities and you get more rewards. Or, learn more Manaka Nagao from the beginning of the main story in the latest Synergy Story. You can also take part in a side mission with her grandmother, a grand family affair.
