Genshin Impact blows the doors off of Mondstadt in upcoming Luna VI

You know that saying that when you return home after a grand adventure, it always feels smaller? Genshin Impact is through that out the window with Luna VI “Song of the Welkin Moon: Rondo - Augured Homecoming”, coming April 8th. This expands Mondstadt, the origin of the Travelers' journey, by unveiling the northern reaches.

Head north, and you will make your way through beautiful fields before coming across the Dornman Port. You would expect the main attraction here to be on the sea, but nope. Look up, and you will be awed by the hovering Temple of Space. It is said here lies fragments created by Asmoday, the sovereign of sky and space.

And what happens when a shiny is introduced in an RPG? 

That's right, we are raiding a place of cultural significance! Lara Croft would be proud. Head into the Temple, and you will run into distinct realms inspired by the likes of Liyue and Sumeru. In here, you can take advantage of a new mechanic to alter the space in these realms to open new paths.

And find treasure, no doubt.

Geo isn't usually my element, but Linnea sounds good

Pop back down to earth and wander the Dornman Port wilderness, however, and you will come toe to toe with the Watcher: Fallen Vigil boss. Luckily, you can call for some ranged support, with the debut of the 5-star Geo Bow wielder, Linnea. She works best in Lunar-Crystallize teams, thanks to her ability to change Hydro-Crystallize to the former. 

She can also summon a companion named Lumi to lower foes' Geo RES, and can also generate continuous off-field Geo Damage. Outside of combat, you can help Linnea discover rare fauna and flora to earn badges for her backpack. Because Genshin desperately needed another set of collectibles.

If you want a free friend, however, head to Nod-Krai and take part in the Voynich Guild’s trade show. Here, you can partake in minigames such as coordinating aerial bombardments or a shooter-based test of reflexes. Complete them all, and you will recruit Jahoda. Or, flex your creative muscles in Miliastra Wonderland with a host of new QOL updates.
