Lunar reaction in Genshin Impact was released alongside Nod-Krai in version 6.0, so it's no surprise that the elemental reaction is exclusive to those who use the Moon Goddess's version of Vision, the Moon Wheel.

Nod-Krai characters like Ineffa, Flins, Lauma, and Nefer all have a Moon Wheel, but non-Nod-Krai residents, like Zibai, can also wield the Lunar power. This is because Zibai used to reside on the moon when she was an angel.

As of version 6.3, there are three types of Lunar reactions, all of them requiring Hydro to trigger. Lunar-Charged is a mix of Hydro and Electro; Lunar-Bloom triggers when Hydro and Dendro meet; while Lunar-Crystallize, the newest reaction in version Luna IV, is a combination of Hydro and Geo.

Being the Moon Goddess herself, it's no surprise that Columbina ends up being the key to Lunar reactions. Her presence in a team not only enables various Lunar reactions but also greatly buffs the team's damage. Of course, she's a Hydro character by design, which is the element required to trigger all three Lunar reactions.

In short, Columbina is a must-have character if you're planning to have a team of Lunar reactions.

Alongside Columbina's debut is the rerun of Ineffa. Although Ineffa is originally a Lunar-Charged enabler, thanks to the release of other Nod-Krai characters, she can now fit in other parties, such as Hyperbloom teams.

Once Columbina and Ineffa banners end, the next one on the list is the debut of Zibai and Illuga. Both characters are Geo and work around Lunar-Crystallize, but since Zibai is a 5-star character, you can easily expect more from her than Illuga.

To add to the list of powerful characters, next to Zibai's banner is the rerun of Neuvillette. Although he doesn't have the power for Lunar reactions, he's still beyond sufficient at being a top-tier DPS. After all, he's still the Hydro Dragon, one of the most powerful races in Teyvat.

Genshin Impact players can get 20 pulls simply for logging in on version 6.3

Whether it's for Columbina, Ineffa, Zibai, and Illuga's Lunar reactions, or Neuvillette's pure Hydro power, there's no doubt that Genshin Impact 6.3 banners are all tempting. The future characters that were teased in the livestream, such as Nicole and Varka, are also fan-favorites, meaning that you may suffer with your Primogem savings.

Thankfully, you can get 20 pulls by logging in for the Lantern Rite celebration in version 6.3, and in total, you can expect around 13,000 Primogems for playing the game. So, as long as you're active enough, you can get at least one new 5-star character in version Luna IV.
