Rush Royale celebrates a legally distinct day that is in no way Star Wars-themed

Today is May 4th, which, as I am sure I don’t need to tell anyone reading this, is Star Wars day. One of our most holy days. It is a day to celebrate Ewan McGregor, admit the prequels aren’t that bad, actually, and enjoy games milking the occasion for all its worth, such as Rush Royale.

Although MY.GAMES is doing something totally different, in fact. This is, excuse you, Star Force Day. Not a single R2-D2 to be seen here, just this friendly 2D-2R. This event will last until May 11, with the opportunity to sweep a host of goodies, including an exclusive new unit.

To get the most out of this, you will need to jump on every day and clear some daily missions. MY.GAMES is pitching this as an “immersive cosmic adventure”, with a dedicated reward path to follow. It is worth noting, however, that these daily missions will remain available until the end of the event, but who wants to do a week's worth of quests in one night?

The biggest prize on offer here is the exclusive unit. Bow your heads and pay reverence to the great, the powerful, the almighty, Darth Maul. I mean, Dark Moloch. Not a Sith lord in any way. You can see my confusion, though; red dude with horns in a robe with a two-sided, retractable energy sword.

To get the most out of this powerful unit, you will need to master the various titles that Dark Moloch units can wield: Overlord and Emperor. Side note, these two can start throwing lightning around, which is neat. Dark Moloch is all about your strongest copy of this character, hoarding marks to increase their power, and as long as you keep feeding them, unlimited power can be yours.
