The Division Resurgence reveals a mythology-inspired faction and its King
The existence of a mythologically inspired faction gives me hope that we might see a Norse army
I am a very big fan of mythology. Mostly Norse, but I enjoy them all; Welsh, Greek, Roman, start talking about gods and myths, and I will be on board. Unfortunately, the English only really has the one good one: King Arthur. Luckily, The Division Resurgence has picked up on that.
The Division Resurgence is a mobile-only entry to the series, faithfully recreating the gameplay of the original series. You will have the full guns-blazing, drone-tossing, frustratingly bullet-spongey experience as you would on a console. Except you can play it easier when the real apocalypse comes.
As we eagerly await the March 31st release date, Ubisoft is dropping some more lore on an upcoming faction. You know, between shutting studios and games. This faction is the Freemen, and they are all called Gordon. Probably not, but what is a fact is their leader, Arthur King. Don’t have to strain too hard to connect those dots.

The story of Arthur King is a tragic one
To stylize yourself after a legendary hero takes a bit of an ego, however, given that Arthur was a Wall Street wiz and Silicon Valley savant, you can see where it came from. Everything changed when the Dollar Flu struck, however. Arthur and his followers were preparing for a catastrophe for some time, fueled by a distrust of government. When the flu and the subsequent chaos claimed the lives of his wife and son, however, that is when Arthur truly lost it. He gathered his army, claimed a base, and sat upon a throne of his own. From here, he declared war on the government and The Division, and it is a war he is decidedly prepared for, if his massive set of armor is anything to go by. He might look like a stupid can of Pepsi, but you ain't popping that top anytime soon.
The Division Resurgence is available to pre-order from the App Store and Google Play, ahead of the March 31st release date.
