The Division Resurgence shoots forward with three Speedrun Events
I wish they would speedrun dropping their battle pass
We are nearly two months on from the launch of The Division Resurgence, and I am happy to announce that it seems to be going pretty well. As a big fan of The Division, and English Mythology getting a mention, this pleases me. And now it is time for more, with Season 1, Phase 2 kicking off.
Now, let’s get the unsavoury part out of the way; there is a new Classified Ops Pack. Boo, hiss, battle passes, boo. The free tiers get you a Strawberry Milkshake Exotic Weapon and Tactical Augmentation Mod. Pay for Premium, and you can pick up the Pyromaniac Apparel Set, and other stuff that doesn’t matter, because don’t support battle passes. On to the good stuff!
We have an addition to The Division's iconic Dark Zone, the PvPvE mode, where you get distracted by NPCs before other players clock you from behind. It’s fun when it's the other way around. Anyway, this involves an event pass, because we can’t have enough passes. You will need to delve into the Dark Zone to complete a series of activities, progress through the pass, and walk out with a series of rewards. And a series of bullet wounds.

It's time to get the zoomies
Finally, for those of us who can’t sit still, Speedrun Events! And not a pass in sight, it's a glorious day. There are three events to take on, so let’s run down the dates. MM04 - A New Enemy is active May 15th till the 19th, OW Nest - Derelict Store will run from May 29th until June 2nd, and MM06 - Take the Castle wraps it up between June 12th and the 16th.These are Speedruns, so you know the drill: try to beat the missions the quickest with as much cheese as it takes. There are two leaderboards to conquer, with solo and teams being separate, for obvious reasons. You get rewards based on your placement, so why not try to reach the top on both? Dare to dream.
The Division Resurgence is available from the App Store and Google Play.
