The Division Resurgence activates all agents with global launch

With all the strife Ubisoft is going through, I was half expecting this to be cancelled. And yet, The Division Resurgence is finally available to play. This fully-fledged entry in the popular franchise brings all the Division fun straight to your mobile. And I, for one, cannot wait to once again become an Agent. 

The world as you know it is gone, with the Dollar Flu sparking an epidemic and plunging the world into chaos. As an Agent of the Division, you are one of the chosen few who can regain order.

Few being millions of other players, but you get the drift, it is high stakes. 

There are five distinct specializations to choose from, each with its own abilities and skills. These are the Tech Operator, Vanguard, Field Medic, Demolitionist, and Bulwark. Happily, you can complete the Bootcamp to learn the basic systems and decide which to choose. Then it is off to the main missions to haul the world back onto its feet in a hail of cover-shooting bullets and enemies with way too much health. You will even face off against the brand new Freemen faction.

You can team up with other players to gain an advantage, working together to clear the shared open-world activities. Or heading the Conflict mode, a PvP experience to test your mettle against your fellow players. You can also just askew people all together, and take the fight to your foes as a one-person army.

Even after the story, there is still a lot of fighting to do

Our fight has only just begun, and yet, Ubisoft already has the endgame in its sights. If you enjoyed the story, you can replay a random main mission at Ultimate Difficulty, or join a Clan and tackle the challenges together. For those who need some guidance at the higher end, you can learn advanced tactics in training, alongside earning rewards.

Of course, you can enter the Dark Zone, a Division staple. This is a PvPvE open-world area full of the game's hardest enemies. Your goal here is to take these down to earn loot and then escape the Dark Zone with your treasure. Of course, you will have other enemies hunting you down, too, hoping for an easy score. It is an apocalypse after all. What a lovely day.
