Pokémon Presents drops a heap of announcements across six mobile projects, including Pokémon Champions
The Pokémon Company held their Pokémon Presents stream recently, and as much as I would like to, we can’t speed through the whole article discussing how ridiculous Mega Dragonite looks. Short answer: incredibly. We had a huge heap of mobile reveals come out of the event, so let’s dive in.
My favourite announcement is Pokémon Champions. Coming in 2026, this game will be like Pokémon Stadium, but updated. There will be Pokémon Home compatibility, multiple ways to battle, and the ability to add Pokémon on a trial basis. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Pokémon Friends, out now (Android/Apple), will give you the chance to craft plushies by solving over 1,200 puzzles. A nice downtime game before bed.
Speaking of which, Pokémon Sleep (Android/Apple). The Legendary dog trio of Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will receive a Research event this September. Also, later this year will be the new Amber Canyon area to snooze in. Players of Pokémon Unite (Android/Apple) will be able to complete another legendary duo, with Latias joining the recently debuting Latios on August 8th. You can try out the former for three days with the UNITE0722 code. The Electrode Volleyball mode is available now, and sounds hilarious.

Next, Pokémon Go (Android/Apple), and the future is not bright. Eternatus will darken the skies in the Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Max Finale event scheduled for August 23rd and 24th. During this time, all previously available Max Pokémon will reappear, so if you missed one, set up your calendar reminder now.
Finally, Pokémon Masters EX (Android/Apple). Hailing from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask DLC, Carmine and Snitstcha are arriving as a sync pair. Their Poké Fair will feature from July 28th and September 5th, and logging in now will net you 3,000 Gems to help you pull for them.
To add some more excitement to the coming months, Destiny: Rising is set to release next month. I don't think we will ever see Pikachu pick up a gun, unless Nintendo want to sue itself.
