Is it worth putting up with someone who calls themselves “The Beauty Thief”? I think not

As much as I adore the Persona series, Persona 5 never grabbed me. Having said that, I fully support Persona 5: The Phantom X, because a Persona game on the mobile, huzzah. Version 2.6 has now dropped, bringing with it special events and a 5-star Phantom Thief to add to your team.

Our heroes have found themselves in a place eerily similar to a Palace from Persona 5, and what’s more, have bumped into some of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from the same game. You will team up with Noir, or Haru Okumura, to complete missions and earn Cosmic Rebel Coins, which can be traded for the likes of Gold Tickets.

For those who get hit with the pangs of Noir nostalgia, you can add the hero to your party through her Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts. There will also be her 5-star weapon, Last Quarter, on offer from the Arms Deals: Silent Pistols banner. But, is she worth the effort? The answer is yes, if you are lacking firepower.

Noir can use her skills to deal damage and buff up her ranged damage at the same time. The more buffs you stack, the more damage she deals, resulting in some major Psychokinetic fun to be had.

Just as a treat, she can also increase the amount of critical damage enemies take. All in all, a solid attacker if you can get her.

All those deviants out there can also purchase the Maid Haru Special Outfit from the store, with a special sale price until January 8th. If that still isn't enough Haru, then you can accompany her to Cafe Leblanc in an event story and earn some nice rewards.

Or, take her against the new boss, who gets stronger based on Distortion Level. Vanquish it, and you will earn Joy Medals to trade for protagonist-exclusive weapons. You can also take on previously defeated bosses in Stamina Mode, which costs, shockingly, stamina.

If that isn’t enough, there is a 7-day login event that will earn you up to 7 Platinum Milicoins, as well as 300 Meta Jewels to celebrate the version’s release. Watch the Persona X-Stream Ver. 2.5 & 2.6 broadcast, and you will earn yet another 300.

So, now is an excellent time to download Persona 5: Phantom X from the App Store and Google Play.
