Outerplane celebrates 2.5 years by poisoning everything in sight with new character
This is what happens when a Poison Ivy cosplayer gets access to bug bombs
It is always lovely to see a game reach any sort of longevity milestone these days, although, having said that, having an anniversary event for two and a half years always seems excessive to me.
Two, sure, but a half? There's always free stuff, though, so let’s not complain. Instead, let's download Outerplane and reap these rewards!
Since launching all those years (and months) ago, Outerplane has enjoyed a decent life, racking up over one million players. Here, you dive into Mirsha, a nexus point for beings of many dimensions. Unfortunately, we play K, an ordinary guy from Earth. He's not even Agent K from Men in Black!
Let us turn to someone with some kickass powers, even if she is ever so slightly scary. Gnosis Viella is a Dark-element Striker that inflicts her opponents with poison. Even better, there are no enemies immune to her status effects. It will be interesting to see how powerful this ends up being in PvP and PvE. Poison Explosion might become the most feared move in the game.

The problem with early characters in these types of games is that with the inevitable power creep and new moves, they get outclassed quickly. Obviously, that sucks if you are a huge fan of one of the old guard. Luckily, fans of Demiurge Stella can rejoice as she has been buffed to be competitive in the current game. There is also an exclusive skin you can collect in celebration.
Finally, what would an anniversary event be without ample rewards? There is a range of events going on, including an event story for Gnosis Viella. There will be the opportunity to select Irregular Equipment, obtain a Lobby Mascot, and a rerun event for a limited character. Happy birthday indeed.
Outerplane is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
