Get ready to know Varka's full kit in Genshin Impact Luna V livestream

Varka was announced around three weeks ago, but just like other characters teased in a drip marketing, little is known about his ability and potential. All we know is that he has an Anemo Vision, as per his character portrait. He's also seen wielding two blades, and based on his canon, he should be a Claymore holder.

Like Durin, Varka lacks the connection with the moon, so he won't be playing around the Lunar reaction. This means that there are only two possibilities regarding his kit: either he's a pure Anemo DPS like Xiao or Wanderer, or an Anemo damage dealer that needs Elements that can be Swirled, which are Electro, Pyro, Hydro, or Cryo.

Although Varka is not connected with the moon, he's still somewhat affiliated with the Hexerei, so it won't be surprising if he's released with his own Witch's Homework quest, which enables a buff if his team contains another Hexerei character.

Thankfully, you won't have to guess for much longer, as Varka's full kit will be announced in the upcoming Genshin Impact Luna V livestream (also known as Genshin 6.4).

Genshin Impact 6.4 is likely another filler version

Considering we got a big patch in 6.3, which includes a new area, two new 5-star characters, and the Lantern Rite celebration, Luna V is likely a filler version.
