Genshin Impact Luna VI banners introduces Linnea and brought back Chasca

Genshin Impact's Luna's version (6.x) has been focusing on its Nod-Krai storyline, but 6.5 is coming with a massive and surprising addition to Mondstadt. You'll get to explore the northern zone of Mondstadt with the release of Dornman Port. The area will maintain Mondstadt's Europe-inspired theme and also introduce the final secret character from the silhouette teaser.

Beyond the Dornman Port is the mysterious Temple of Space, where Time and Space stand still. It's said that civilizations from different eras converge here. It's supposedly a repository of fragments made by Asmoday (Ruler of Space), which sounds promising in terms of the lore it will uncover.

This is a fresh change since the version has been heavy with Nod-Krai expansion, and players have been waiting for Mondstadt expansion for the longest time. The last time Mondstadt got a new area was in 1.2, when Dragonspine became available.

Chasca is the odd one out in Genshin Impact 6.5 banners

The first banner in Genshin Impact Luna VI is the debut of Linnea and the rerun of Chasca. Throughout version 6.5, Chasca will be the only character who's unrelated to the Lunar reaction, since the other three, Linnea, Lauma, and Nefer, are all powerful Lunar characters.

Linnea is the 5-star Geo support for Zibai's Lunar-Crystallize reaction, which was truly predictable. She enables Geo Resonance with Zibai, increases Lunar-Crystallize DMG, reduces the enemy's Geo RES, and increases Elemental Mastery, making her the ultimate support for Zibai. She also heals, so you don't have to worry about bringing a healer/shielder unit.

Meanwhile, Chasca is an Anemo DPS that requires various Swirl-able elements to reach her maximum potential, as her damage will adopt these elements, creating chaos of elemental reactions.

Genshin Impact Luna VI will be available on April 7 or April 8, 2026. If you're in the US time zone, then expect the update to be up on April 7, but if you're in later time zones, then the patch will be available on April 8.
