Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy completes its main entry lineup with two new characters
Now that we have one from each, can I please have Squall?
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy has been out for about a month at this point, making it Square Enix’s longest-running mobile game. Never gets old. We have been enjoying our battle and have received four extra heroes since launch, with two more having just landed. It is time to meet Rikku and Clive.
I will start with the bad news: Clive Rosfield is not voiced by Benny-award-winning Ben Ben Starr in this iteration. Yet, we perceive. Hailing from the hellfire of Final Fantasy 16, Clive is bringing the heat with a variety of fire attacks, with single-target attacks or a wonderful AOE burn. Although somewhat surprisingly, he seems to wield the powers of Phoenix over Ifrit.
Maybe there's more to learn from his tale in Tokyo.

When in doubt, grenade
Moving over to a character I am quite fond of, the lovable Rikku is carrying the banner from Final Fantasy 10. The first PlayStation 2 Final Fantasy, and arguably the best from that generation; get a personality, Vaan. Rikku is packing a variety of potions to assist her party, as well as a grenade or twenty for the foe.She might not be the strongest, but you can’t question the value of support.

Now, here is another interesting point. Clive and Rikku mark the release of the last two additional characters we knew about from promotional material, and we now have one character per mainline entry. We are now flying blind regarding who the next character could be, and the pool is large. They could bring us Ramza from Tactics, go wild with Mog from Final Fantasy 6, or, just maybe, give me Squall! Just a thought.
They are going to bring out Zell now instead, aren’t they?
To celebrate, Square has launched a series of events and campaigns, with up to 99 ability draws up for grabs. Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
