Hoarders are going to enjoy Olaf’s new building in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Say goodbye to some of your precious materials
In a recent X post, Disney Dreamlight Valley finally revealed the purpose of the mysterious building. If you didn’t know, back on March 23rd, a picture of a strange Greek-style building was teased, and players started guessing its purpose left and right.
Some thought it’s a legit addition that belonged to Olaf, while others were convinced it’s an early April Fool’s Day prank.
Turns out the former are correct, as DDV revealed that Olaf’s Grand Exhibition will be released in the upcoming free update, Whispers of the Wind. It serves as a hub to showcase collectible items from the biomes in the Dreamlight Valley. Only Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach rooms will be available for the Pocahontas update.
Inside Olaf’s Grand Exhibition, there are several rooms to represent all of the different biomes. In each room, there's a diorama in the center to showcase storyline achievements, an aquarium to exhibit aquatic creatures and gems, and a companion house to display all critters and food found in that biome.
Filling Olaf’s Grand Exhibition won’t be as easy as it sounds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before getting too excited, Olaf’s Grand Exhibition requires some TLC first. Each room will need some repairs before you attempt to fill it with materials. It’s not revealed what type of repairs are required, so it could be something related to your Royal Tools. Successfully fixing and filling a biome room rewards players with a placeable furniture diorama as well as unique clothing items. On a side note, other than Olaf’s Grand Exhibition, there is a game-changing quality-of-life improvement that will be implemented in the new update. The Crafting Station and the Uncrafting Station will feature a search bar and a filter setting to help with organizing. This will make life much easier when decorating your valley or preparing a scene for your Dreamsnap shoot.
Although Olaf’s Grand Exhibition will currently only host the base valley biomes, there might be a chance for the DLC biomes to be added in the future. In the meantime, enjoy restoring the exhibition rooms and filling them with different materials in the upcoming update.
