Back on April 20th, Disney Dreamlight Valley teased a picture of two characters holding a shovel and asking players to help them do something special for Earth Day. The X post just encouraged people to leave a Dig comment to prepare a hole for a special tree.

Two days later, on April 22, a new picture was teased, showing the two characters standing near a large hole in the ground. People then started throwing suggestions on what kind of tree to plant. Some asked for the Tree of Life, which is located in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. DDV replied with a comment saying it’s a great suggestion. Others asked for Grandmother Willow, a weeping willow tree that served as a guardian and advisor to Pocahontas.

Finally, a few hours later on the same day, the tree was revealed to be a Sycamore, and it was accompanied by the EARTHDAY2026 code.

Under the Help section in the main menu, enter the code EARTHDAY2026 and wait a couple of seconds to claim the Sycamore from the mailbox near your house. iOS players might need to contact Gameloft customer care to claim the tree. You can send the gift code to the customer service, and they will manually send the item.

The Sycamore tree is huge and will take up some space in your valley, but if you like that and want more, you can buy more of this tree from Scrooge McDuck using Star Coins.

The tree is tagged as Winnie the Pooh, which may refer to the real-life Pooh Tree. However, given that the gift was released shortly after Pocahontas joined the valley, it could also be a reference to Pocahontas's line in the song "Colors of the Wind."
