HoYoverse's upcoming cozy game Petit Planet is ready for another round of CBT

HoYoverse takes a break from its usual action-RPG games, as its upcoming game, Petit Planet, will take on the cozy genre, allowing players to build and relax on their own planet or socialize with other players.

In Petit Planet, you take on the shoes of a Planet Tender. Just like a typical cozy game, you can do real-life activities such as farming, fishing, and cooking. However, unlike in real life, you can step into your unique vehicle to explore the galaxy, visiting other planets.

Petit Planet has had a closed beta before, but on the fourth week of April 2026, it's ready to launch another CBT.

You can now register for Petit Planet's Stardrift Test CBT

You can sign up for Petit Planet's CBT2 on the official website. The test is available on Android, iOS, and Windows PC. You must be above 18 years old to participate in the test, although this doesn't correspond to the game's age rating.

Here are the recommended device specifications for iOS:

• OS: iOS 14.0 or later
• Device: iPhone XS or later models (excluding iPhone XR)
• RAM: 4GB or higher
• Free space: 10GB

Here are the recommended device specifications for Android:

• OS: Android 9.0 or later
• Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2/Dimensity 9200 or higher
• RAM: 6GB or higher
• Free space: 12GB

The Stardrift Test will bring additional features compared to its first CBT, including new Neighbors, a better Starsea Voyage journey, and more activities at the Galactic Bazaar. So you can expect to meet more fluffy companions, visit new planets and galaxies, and even socialize with other beta testers.

Petit Planet's Stardrift Test will begin on April 21, 2026. So you still have time to sign up for the CBT2. If HoYoverse follows the pattern of CBT1, then the recruitment will run up until the CBT start date, and last for around three weeks.
