Disney Dreamlight Valley promises a hint for a mysterious door, but there's none
Upcoming character so mysterious, there's not even a hint about them…
When the Whispers of the Wind update was teased, it introduced Pocahontas as well as a mysterious character that’s locked behind a strange door in the Dreamlight Castle. There was speculation that maybe they're an evil character, as there were shadows all over the door. This is something that intrigued some players, since no villain has ever come from the Dreamlight Castle.
Fast forward to the release of the Whispers of the Wind update, and Pocahontas arrived with her friendship quests alongside Meeko. By completing the friendship quests, you will get a letter from Pocahontas, in which she gives extra information about what happened from her perspective.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has posted on X, asking Dreamers whether they have finished Pocahontas' friendship quests yet, and telling them to check their mail with Raccoon treats for hints about the mysterious character behind the door. However, there is no hint, as the mail simply contains Pocahontas's words of gratitude about the Celestial Celebration.
The previous letters do not contain any Raccoon treats, so the last mail is the only plausible one. A lot of players are upset because the hint is unclear, with some stating they haven't been provided with clues at all.
Disney Dreamlight Valley might have been pointing at another hint from Pocahontas
Instead of the last letter from Pocahontas, Disney Dreamlight Valley could be asking players to complete the final friendship quest and read the note stuck to Meeko’s fur. The note is from the Realmweaver, and they wanted to keep the raccoon as a companion with the others, but Meeko bit them. They also leave a P.S for Dreamers to keep an eye out. This could be Bruno Madrigal, as he has many rats as companions. The character used to hide in the shadows a lot, and the broken door in Dreamlight Castle could be a sign of his hidden life in Encanto. The note could also come from Dr. Facilier, the villain in The Princess and the Frog. He is called the Shadow Man after all, and it does fit with the given hints.
As the Whispers of the Wind update is close to ending, this will only leave us with more anticipation about what’s coming next, especially concerning the upcoming mysterious character behind the Dream Castle door.
