Disney Dreamlight Valley teases Hercules in upcoming free summer update

Disney Dreamlight Valley has released a free content roadmap to tease upcoming characters. We helped Lady and the Tramp some time ago, and just recently, Pocahontas was invited to the valley alongside Meeko. As for what’s next, get ready to go the distance because Hercules is coming.

In a recent X post, we saw the free content roadmap for summer 2026. You can see a statue of Phil in a Greek-style area as well as a pair of sandals. This is a strong indication that Hercules is joining the valley alongside Phil. If you have the Storybook Vale expansion, you may have already unlocked Hades, and soon you can add a few more characters from the film.

Those who got the Wishblossom Ranch expansion might also already have Pegasus as a horse companion to float around the valley. There might be an interaction between the horse and Hercules in the future. A lot of people are asking for baby Pegasus to be included in the free update to keep as a companion.

It’s unclear if more characters are joining the valley, but many players are asking for Megara to be added. And I tend to agree, it would be a crime to introduce Hercules characters and not include Megara.

Hercules might not be the only character coming soon to Disney Dreamlight Valley

A few days ago, Disney Dreamlight Valley reminded everyone to complete Pocahontas’ final friendship quests in an X post. Dreamers should get some Raccoon treats as well as a hint for the mysterious character hiding behind the door in the Dreamlight Castle.

You will find a note from someone called the Realmweaver on Meeko’s fur in the final Pocahontas quest. Some players are hopeful that this mysterious character will finally be revealed in the next free update. There’s a lot of excitement considering it might be a villain like Dr. Facilier, which is what many players have been asking for.

The current events and the star path still take a while to end. So, the Hercules update might take time to come. In the meantime, collect as much Dreamlight as you can in case the realm is accessed from Dreamlight Castle to unlock the characters as soon as possible.
